What training materials should you have?

What sort of materials you require will be determined by a host of things – from the numbers of people involved in the event, to the complexity and nature of the knowledge you want your audience to take away – as well as the all-important budget you need to work within.

One of our key skills is the ability to understand both the information you want to convey, and the way you want to put it across. We can then help you find ways to make your presentation more entertaining and memorable – but still appropriate to the ‘tone of voice’ you want to take.

In addition, we can help produce written and/or pictoral training support packs that will help people understand the training – both during the event and later when they come to apply their new knowledge.

We can help write and structure these packs if required, as well as helping present the information clearly and consistently – and with the right level of creative spark to give the materials the optimum level of impact.

How Hullabaloo can help

Hullabaloo can help with your Training support every step of the way:

1. Help you identify what you want to achieve (creating the brief)

We will meet you and any other key people to understand the knowledge you want to convey, and what each of them want the event to achieve and contain. By gaining this understanding we are jointly able to define the brief that will set out what the training support needs to deliver.

2. Identify the best solution (Planning and Design Concepts)

Having talked to the key people, we go away to plan how best to achieve the brief’s objectives. Typically this will include concepts for things we can do to engage the audience before, during and after the event, as well as showing how the materials will look and suggestions for what media to use to carry your message.

Our Planning and Design Concepts will help everybody see the strengths of each solution, and enable you to decide what direction we choose to take forward.

3. Make the brief a reality (Finished Design)

Once we are all agreed on a direction, we work to cost and deliver all the items you need to make your training event a success.

From copy writing to photography & illustration, we bring together all the elements into a finished mock up that lets you see what your support materials will look like, and make sure it’s exactly right before we proceed to production.

4. Cross the ‘T’s and dot the ‘I’s (Artwork and Proofing)

Once everything has been agreed, we provide you with detailed proofs so that you can check all the detail is correct, and everyone is happy with the content. At the same time, we prepare artwork for production in whatever medium is required.

5. Deliver the vision (Production)

To make your training support a reality means finding the right production resources for your needs – whether it is printed or electronic.

We can arrange everything for you through our wide-ranging network of approved suppliers – all delivering high quality but cost effective results.

Alternatively, where you have existing and proven relationships with your own suppliers, we will work closely with them to ensure a successful delivery.

6. Build on success (The future)

Beyond the training event, your training programme will need to be supported and your brand protected, and we would love to act as brand champions. This involves working with your team to plan and produce innovative support materials – from websites and advertising to training materials and exhibitions.
